Morecambe host Exeter this weekend in their first ever Football League game on a Sunday, 1pm kick-off.

Irish striker has four goals to his name this season after arriving in August following his release by Preston North End.

Form

After a slow start to the season that saw the Grecians regularly occupy a place in the bottom two, campaign came to life with four straight wins between the middle of September and start of October. Picked up a good point with a 1-1 draw at Southend on Saturday before ending league leaders Wycombe’s 10-game unbeaten run with a come-from-behind 2-1 win on Tuesday night.

History

Morecambe may have won the most important game between the two sides, the 2007 Conference play-off final at Wembley, but overall Exeter have edged things. In 15 meetings there have been seven draws, five Grecians wins and three triumphs for the Shrimps.
