Morecambe travel to Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday only 18 days after the two sides met at the Globe Arena.

Manager

John Still. Highly-respected lower league manager is currently in his second spell as Daggers boss. Has been in charge since 2004 and oversaw club’s rise from the Conference to League 1 before relegation back to Football League’s bottom tier in 2011.

One to watch

Chris Lewington. The 24-year-old goalkeeper produced a string of stunning saves in the reverse fixture at the Globe Arena at the start of the month. Daggers number one will be hoping he isn’t as busy this Saturday with his side on home turf.

History

Side only met in the Globe Arena League 2 clash on January 8, with more than 4,000 fans taking advantage of The Shrimps’ offer of free entry. Jim Bentley’s side came from behind to win 2-1 with second half goals from Jordan Burrow and Andy Parrish. Was the eleventh Football League meeting between the two sides, of which The Shrimps have won six.

Daggers are currently 13th in League 2, four points above The Shrimps. Only lost two of their last 10 home games. Fell 1-0 at Wycombe last time out on Saturday.
