AFC Wimbledon come to the Globe Arena on Saturday breathing down Morecambe’s neck in fourth place, just a point behind.

Manager

Terry Brown became AFC Wimbledon’s first full-time manager in May 2007. He made his name with non-league Hayes, whom he took from the Ryman Premier Division to third place in the Conference in 1999. He was later in charge at Aldershot Town and narrowly missed out on taking them back into the football league during his time in charge. He lifted the Dons into the Blue Square South in his first season in charge and then secured a further two promotions to achieve football league status for the first time this year for the reborn club.

One to watch

Striker Christian Jolley has scored four times in six league outings this season, hitting two in Wimbledon’s victory over Gillingham last Saturday.

The 23-year-old, who joined from Kingstonian last May and signed a new contract in the summer, is a gangly six-footer who is certain to ask some questions of the Shrimps’ defence.
