Morecambe will check on Jamie Devitt and Shaun Beeley ahead of the trip to Carlisle.
Devitt has been battling a groin problem while Beeley had to be taken off against both Hartlepool and Shrewsbury after getting a knock on his left knee.
Bentley said: “Devitt wasn’t 100 per cent fit on Tuesday so we thought another couple of days training would do him the world of good.
“Beeley got a bang on his knee which forced him off against Hartlepool.
“There was quite a bit of swelling and unfortunately he took a bang on it again against Shrewsbury.
“We had to sacrifice one player to bring the ‘keeper on so hopefully taking him off will have given him a little bit of time and rest because he’s done exceptionally well this season.
“We’ll monitor him and see how he is.”
Bentley and his backroom team will also be keeping a close eye on the players who were part of the 10 men that battled hard in the second-half against Shrewsbury.
He said: “The lads whho played with 10 men the oter day put in more of a shift.
“It was more of a run around in the second half so we’ll make sure we do what’s right by them to make sure they’re recharged and focused and ready to go again.
“We’ll see what we’ve got available.”
Goalkeeper Andreas Arestidou is suspended after his red card against Shrewsbury.
