Preview: Morecambe v Cheltenham

The Globe Arena pitch has passed an early morning pitch inspection on Friday ahead of the visit of promotion hopefuls Cheltenham.
Manager
Mark Yates. Midfielder played more than 200 games for the Whaddon Road side before returning as manager in 2009. Led his team to the League 2 play-off final in May 2012 only to see them beaten 2-0 by Crewe.
One to watch
Shaun Harrad. Striker on loan from Bury is Cheltenham’s top goalscorer this season with eight goals in all competitions.
History
Seven Football League meetings between the two sides have brought three Shrimps wins, including a double triumph last season. Cheltenham won this year’s reverse fixture 2-0 at Whaddon Road at the end of September.
Form
On a mixed run in League 2 but have only lost two of their last nine games meaning they sit fifth in the table one point off the automatic promotions spots. Made national headlines recently when they hosted Everton in the third round of the FA Cup, but they lost out 5-1 to David Moyes’ side.

Morecambe have cut ticket prices for the game to £10 for adult standing tickets. £8 for concessions with juniors costing £3.
Tickets for the PMG Main stand are available from £14 for adults, £12 for concessions and £5 for juniors.
