Morecambe defender Chris Doyle has joined Chorley on a one-month youth loan.
The teenager has joined Garry Flitcroft’s Conference North side with a view to getting more first-team football with Mark Hughes, Andy Parrish and Ryan Edwards all currently available to Shrimps boss Jim Bentley.
The 19-year-old will still be eligible to train with the Shrimps and take part in reserve team fixtures.
Bentley said: “Chris has had some time in the first team this year and done well.
“He is a young player who now needs to get regular game time at a good standard to help his development.
“Chorley are a great club who play in a very competitive league and he will learn a great deal in his time there.”
