IN the Baines Bagguley North Lancashire and District Football League Premier Division, the only game to go ahead was at Carnforth, and it was thanks to the ground staff who worked all morning to kick-off time to get the ground playable to the referee’s satisfaction.
The game was excellent and very well played, with both sides looking to win the Premiership.
Highgrove had more possession but both sides had limited chances.
The only chance taken was for Highgrove by Jamie Lothian and it was enough for his side to take all three points in a game well refereed by Robert Ball.
