Lillis to coach in La Manga

FORMER Morecambe assistant boss Mark Lillis is set for sunnier climes, after taking up a coaching job in southern Spain.

Lillis, who worked with former Shrimps boss Sammy McIlroy until the pair left the club in May, will form part of a team helping to relaunch the careers of youngsters released by top clubs at the Visionpro institute in La Manga.

The 51-year-old will work with former Huddersfield Town teammate Bobby Davison helping 16 to 18-year-olds from England, Spain and Hungary to get back into the game.
