Lancaster City’s Evo-Stik First Division North game at Brighouse Town on Saturday was called off.

The St Giles Road pitch was deemed waterlogged after an early morning pitch inspection.

Darren Peacock’s side next host Marine in the last 16 of the Doodson Sport Cup at Giant Axe on Tuesday night.

Elsewhere, Slyne-with-Hest exited the Richardson Cup at the first round stage with a 1-0 defeat at home to Fleetwood Hesketh.

Connor Wright scored the only goal of the game after 10 minutes.

Garstang’s trip to Vickerstown in the same competition was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
