Morecambe boss Jim Bentley is delighted to see good friend John Coleman back in League 2 with Accrington Stanley.
The former Shrimps striker has returned to the Crown Ground from Sligo Rovers following the departure of James Beattie.
Bentley said: “I like John, he’s from my neck of the woods, as is (assistant manager) Jimmy Bell.
“It’ll be great to come up against them again and nice to see them back in the Football League.
“They’re good characters, they know the game inside out and they’re likeable, me and Kenny do get on with them.
“We’ll look forward to the Accrington game away on a Friday night at the end of October.
“A lot’s changed since they’ve been there. We did have the slight upper hand over them when they were at Rochdale and hopefully it’ll be the same again.”
