Morecambe are close to finalising their pre-season plans.
Shrimps boss Jim Bentley wants to take his side on a short trip away to complement the friendlies already confirmed by the club.
Preston North End, Bradford, Oldham and Dundee are the sides set to visit the Globe Arena ahead of the new season.
Bentley said: “We want to take the players away for a few days and get a game in. We’re just sorting out the details.
“It’s a good mixture so far. We’ve got a non-league side in AFC Liverpool which is key and Bradford will be a good test for us and are a side that travel well.
“Dundee have just been promoted to the Scottish Premier League and Preston is a local derby and we’ve had some good games against them in recent years.
“Oldham will be another good test and it’s good to play plenty of League 1 teams because they’re more like what we can expect come the start of the season.”
