Branch maintains top rank position after group success

In Group One of the Lancaster and Morecambe Table Tennis Junior Ranking Tournament, Alex Milligan, Harry Waddington, Nathan Beamer and Aiden Branch gave a high class performance resulting in Branch winning the group and maintain his top ranking position.

In Group Two Hudson Nuttall moved up to 14th place in the ranking and won the group from Abhinav Sinha, Adam Ordenez and Dan 
Main.

Group Three contained newcomers who made their way into the rankings when Joel Derham and Daniel Hanford finished 29th and 30th overall, with Derham winning the group.

In Group Four Matthew Cross collected the winners medal with close competition from Elliott Bywater, James Stanley and Amy Edwards.

Bradley Wilkinson won Group Five, defeating fellow Torrisholme pupil Will Silverwood in an exciting penultimate set.

Matthew Wesrworth won Group Six with a 100-per-cent record.

Bailey Backhouse, Ben Cadman and Henry Moorby made up a closely fought group.

Owen Cross won Group Seven, Scott Wilding and Ethan Walling played a fine first set with the latter winning the decisive game 11-7.
