Luke Gudgeon and Lewis Marshall, both 15, won the titles for the club that has relocated to new premises in Caton after nearly closing its doors for good earlier this year.

Gudgeon, a relative newcomer to the sport, triumphed in the 65kg category while Marshall was crowned the best at 80kg in a perfect tribute to his late uncle Stevie Wiles who died recently aged just 33.

Both boxers now move on to the national rounds as they look for further honours.

The club has moved to Caton after running costs and the work commitments of coaches nearly brought an abrupt end to its recent success.
