Lowe had been due to fight for the English belt in April only for opponent Lee Glover to pull out just days before the fight as he struggled to make weight.

The 21-year-old, a good friend of Tyson Fury, instead extended his unblemished professional record to 10-0 with an eight-round points win over Jamie Quinn in Blackburn.

Now the former Lancaster Boxing Academy fighter will be hoping to make a big impression in front of the Sky cameras.

For tickets and information on a coach running from the area call Lowe’s trainer Bob Howard on 07951 191717.
