Morecambe heavyweight Tyson Fury and Scott Fitzgerald, the Preston welterweight who won gold at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, will be on hand as Skerton ABC invite the public into their gym at Langdale Business Park, White Lund Industrial Estate this Sunday, August 24.

The gym was formerly the home of Bob Howard’s Lancaster Boxing Academy which produced Morecambe’s promising professional featherweight Isaac Lowe.

On Sunday, members of the public will be able call in and watch a training and sparring session and to ask any questions about joining the club with Fitzgerald and Fury signing autographs and taking pictures.

There will be refreshments available throughout the day and coaches will be on hand to give advice.
