MARK Lillis, Morecambe's assistant manager, says the club's exit from the Johnstone's Paint Trophy means his side can now focus on getting enough points in the next 12 games to push them into a play-off spot.
The disappointment of Tuesday's exit at the hands of Grimsby Town will be short-lived and now the team will be playing, not just to achieve a play-off position, but also to make sure they are, as individual players, still part of the Morecambe set-up next season, he said.

Lillis also had a message for the Shrimps fans when The Visitor interviewed him at training on Thursday.
