MORECAMBE right back Adam Yates is on the verge of a six-week loan deal to Burton Albion.
Shrimps officials were hoping to finalise a deal with Nigel Clough's side for the defender, whom they signed from Leek Town in 2006.

Yates has lost his place in the side with Andy Parrish and Henry McStay now ahead of him in the pecking order.

The Visitor understands the agreement will be for an initial six-week period but with the possibility of a permanent deal being negotiated later.
