MORECAMBE FC officials have announced that there will be a pitch inspection at 10am prior to the team's match against Shrewsbury Town.
The match between the two was called off last season due to a water-logged pitch and Morecambe are keen to avoid a repeat of that day when hundreds of Shrewsbury fans had already made the trip from Shropshire.

There has been heavy rain in Morecambe for a few days but the weather is expected to clear a little on Saturday and the Christie Park pitch is known to drain quickly.
