MORECAMBE skipper Jim Bentley felt a draw was a fair result at Barnet on Saturday.
Diarmuid O'Carroll's stunning volleyed equaliser just before the break secured a point for the Shrimps at Underhill.

Bentley said: "All the lads put in a good shift and although we obviously wanted three points I think a draw was a good, and fair, result.

"We were under a lot of pressure, especially in the second half, but we defended well and everybody really gave everything.

"We showed some bottle to come back from a goal down which was pleasing and the best thing about the result is that it keeps our little run of results going.

"We still have quite a new faces in the side but there are signs now that things are beginning to gel. We are working really hard in training and I think we are now seeing that work pay off."
