Boots in Lancaster raised £1,613 for St John’s Hospice with a beauty evening.
Customers were greeted by carol singers before browsing the store where there were beauty and hair demonstrations, massages as well as nibbles, mince pies and mulled wine.
Assistant manager Rowena Berry said: “We are delighted and honoured to be able to support St John’s Hospice with our annual beauty evening and other fundraising activities.
“The hospice is an organisation that is close to our hearts with colleagues, their family members and customers turning to this vital charity for support, care and guidance in their time of need.”
St John’s community fundraiser Joanne Humphrey said: “Boots have been such a fabulous supporter of the hospice and we are so grateful to local businesses like Boots, who get behind us to help ensure we can continue to provide our services.
“This money will make a real difference to patients and their families living with life-limiting conditions.”
