It focuses on Morecambe as a contemporary seaside town and features interviews with representatives from Urban Splash, Friends of the Winter Gardens, the Neighbourhood Task Force and local residents.

Winning Back the West End is a group working to redevelop the West End area of Morecambe. Their Masterplan will see new housing, redevelopment of the former Frontierland site and a community park. Funded by English Partnerships, the scheme is aiming to make the West End a particularly good place to live, work and play in, based on healthy living, a unique setting and art-deco heritage.

Having spent many a happy holiday in Morecambe when the children were small and then seeing it going into decline was so sad.Now things are looking up and lets hope they continue to do so.The biggest eyesore now is the horrible blue frontage where the funfair used to be I hope that can be sorted out sooner than later.Good luck to all those who are working so hard to bring MORECAME back to its former glory.

What's your view on the use of CCTV?
More the merrier - if you've done nothing wrong, you've nothing to worry about
Only appropriate in certain crime-spot areas
I'd be very worried if we had too many
