THE glory days of Morecambe returned on Sunday as the Catch the Wind Kite Festival got into full swing.

Organised by More Music, the fun event drew tens of thousands of people to Morecambe.

The beach next to Morecambe's refurbished Midland Hotel was awash with colour as thousands of kite fliers enjoyed their sport.
