There are many conspiracy theories that are regularly regurgitated in the media. Crop circles, flying saucers, the assassination of JFK and even the lunar landings are just some of them from past decades.

Here’s a more recent one.

What, would your readers suppose, is the likelihood that United Utilities and Costain have conspired to so disrupt the traffic ‘flow’ in this area that none of us can remember how good or bad it was before all this upheaval began?

But before either firm rises to deny any involvement in this, I might agree that it’s not them but Lancashire County Council who have instigated this chaos unbeknown to either perpetrator.

Their combined endeavours have seemingly made Lancaster (and Morecambe) a no-go trading area and the laughing stock of the county.
