It is astounding how the lives of so many people have been impacted by the incredible work of the staff and volunteers at St John’s Hospice.
Each year hundreds of patients, their families and carers are supported and looked after either at the hospice or in the community by the Hospice at Home nursing team.
We know how important the services of St John’s Hospice are to the community, not only for patients but, also for families and friends who have lost loved ones.
With this in mind, we would like to invite you to our very special ‘Light Up A Life’ service on Friday December 6 at 7pm at Morecambe ‘s Winter Gardens.
The service is an opportunity to remember and celebrate the lives of those who are no longer with us.
The service is open to everyone in the community, not just those who have lost a loved one at the hospice.
It offers family and friends a time for reflection, celebration, and can also bring hope at what can be a difficult time of year.
The service will include readings from nurses, carols accompanied by Burneside Brass Band and singing from Bolton-le-Sands C of E Primary School choir.
A significant part of the service will be an opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one offering a moment for reflection and contemplation.
Coffee and mince pies will be served after the service.
We hope as many people as possible are able to attend and as ever, we are immensely grateful for the support of the local community. Should you want any more information please visit www.sjhospice.org.uk/lightupalife
