YOUNG dancers will take their very first steps on stage to help one of Lancaster theatre’s survive for generations to come.

Primary class children from Alysia Gilda’s School of Dance will perform their Jungle Book routine Bare Necessities as part of the school’s Dance Crazy show at the Grand Theatre on Sunday, January 22 at 3pm.

Proceeds will go towards the New Spaces Appeal whereby Lancaster Footlights, the owners of the theatre, are continuing to raise money to improve facilities at The Grand.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Lancaster, Coun and Mrs Paul Woodruff, will attend.

Tickets cost £8/£6 concessions, are available from the theatre box office, or online at www.lancastergrand.co.uk.
