THE Young Ones and Bottom star Adrian Edmondson will visit Morecambe this autumn as you may never have seen him before.

The actor and comedian will front his own band The Bad Shepherds as part of an intriguing season of live entertainment at The Platform.

Edmondson’s folk-punk outfit performs a unique blend of punk songs with a Celtic feel. Their raucous show is on Bonfire Night, November 5, at 8pm.

A host of other celebrity names will appear at the promenade venue later this year. They include Fish, former front man of Marillion, who will perform hits including Kayleigh and Incommunicado on November 18 from 8pm.

Another star of the 1980s, former Fairground Attraction lead singer Eddi Reader, will perform a solo set on October 27 at 8pm which has got to be(eeeeee) Perfect, as her most famous song says.
