THREE slimmers including a mother and daughter scooped Rosemary Conley regional slimmer of the year awards after shedding over 14 stone between them.
Kirsty Burke, 35, from Morecambe used to weigh 19st 7lb and wear a dress size 26/28 before joining the diet and fitness classes.
Rosemary Conley, CBE, recently presented Kirsty, who now weighs 11st 1lb and wears a dress size 12, with her award at a ceremony held at Quorn House, the company’s head office in Quorn, Leicestershire.
She also presented mother and daughter Linda Atkinson, from Lancaster, who used to weigh 11st 11lb and wear a dress size 16/18 and Emma Maxwell, who used to weigh 12st 3lb and wear a dress size 18, with their awards. Linda now weighs 9st 9lb and is a slimline size 10/12, and daughter Emma Maxwell, now weighs 8st 12lb.
Mother-of-two Kirsty joined the Rosemary Conley class in January 2007 after a friend managed to lose two stones in less than three months with the help of the classes.
