The air ambulance landed on Morecambe promenade to airlift a 13-year-old boy who had fallen from a balcony.
Police were called at 3.15pm on Tuesday to reports a teenager had fallen from a balcony on Clarendon Road.
They helped to move people out of the way on the promenade so the air ambulance could land safely.
North West Air Ambulance said they transported a patient to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for treatment at 3.48pm.
Police said the boy’s injuries were only minor so the air ambulance was not needed to transport him to hospital.
