MORECAMBE’S undefeated heavyweight boxing hope Tyson Fury engaged in an unusual contest with his next opponent–by having a sing-song!

Fury showed he can sing as well as fight during a bizarre press conference for his fight with Martin Rogan on April 14.

The 6ft 9in star took the microphone to belt out a tune and also squared off in a stand-up comedy battle against the veteran Irishman, who did an impression of the late Frank Carson.

The fun was in stark contrast to the violence of the recent press conference brawl between Fury’s heavyweight rivals Dereck Chisora and David Haye.

Tyson, who recently gave up his British and Commonwealth Heavyweight Titles, fights 40-year-old Rogan at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast on Saturday, April 14.

The fight will be shown live on Channel 5.

Fury is also taking part in Stand Up For Sport Relief this month.

Five British sporting personalities will team up with five of the country’s best-known comedians to try their hand at stand up comedy.

Fury’s competition will include cricketer Michael Vaughan, England rugby star Ben Cohen and broadcaster Gabby Logan.
