TV comedian Brigstocke coming to Grand

TV comedian Marcus Brigstocke is bringing his ‘Brig Society’ to the Grand Theatre in Lancaster on Saturday, April 13 at 8pm.

Brigstocke will joke about the trivialities and complexities of life, and the systems that don’t help us to be happy, with blistering observations of the bizarreness of 21st Century living.

Marcus won the BBC New Comedian Award at the Edinburgh Festival in 1996 and went on to become a regular on BBC Radio 4, as well as host of BBC4’s ‘The Late Edition’ and ‘I’ve Never Seen Star Wars’. He often appears on the panel on ‘Have I Got News For You’.

He appeared on The Now Show with Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis, Jack Dee’s Live at the Apollo series and starred as a radio DJ in the Richard Curtis film Love Actually.
