Proceeds from the sale of CDs and a concert at the Trimpell Club in Morecambe and a generous donation from a Morecambe businessman were presented to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

When Mark McCorriston from Mobility Linx heard about the touching story of Andy Jarrod, tragically killed in a bike accident last year, he was moved to help.

Andy’s young son Oscar suffers from cystic fibrosis and after Andrew’s death, his family wanted to raise as much money as possible for the charity that supports those with cystic fibrosis.

Singing teacher Andee Robinson encouraged pupils from the fourth, fifth and sixth years at Mossgate Primary School to sing Christmas songs to be recorded on a CD and sold in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

A total of £800 was presented to the trust.

The donation site at www.justgiving.com/Charltonfamily/ has raised over £12,000.
