A ‘Stars in their Eyes’ winner will be performing at the Platform in Morecambe next month as part of a tribute to UB40.

The UB40 Experience will be performing at the venue on Saturday February 13.

The band was founded in late 2013 and features ‘Stars in their Eyes’ winner Andi Bagnali as Ali Campbell plus a line-up of handpicked musicians.

The UB40 Experience are the only UB40 tribute which pays homage to all members of UB40.

Each member of the band has studied the playing techniques, style and sounds of the members of UB40 which they represent.

As a result the real UB40 sound and feel is captured in the tribute group’s overall performance.

Members of the band have played alongside UB40’s Brian Travers, Laurence Parry and Tony Mullins in addition to members of Steel Pulse, The Specials plus other top name bands.

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets, priced at £12.50/£10, are available online at www.lancaster.gov.uk/platform or by telephoning 01524 582803.

Alternatively pick them up in person from Morecambe or Lancaster Visitor Information Centre.
