A CAT owner was left devastated after her pet was cruelly shot with an airgun.

Milo the tabby cat went missing from his home on Main Street in Overton and was found two days later huddled under a bush.

His owner Mandy Mckirdy said: “An x-ray at Bay Vets showed he had a pellet lodged near his spine and near his liver or pancreas.

“He’s like my baby and I can’t believe someone would do something like that.

“I thought Main Street would be safe because it is surrounded by fields.”
