A food collection run as part of a charity initiative at Tesco Carnforth helped raise enough to provide 3000 meals for the needy.
The Tesco team took part in an in store collection at the front of store to help drive awareness of the Neighbourhood Food Collection which took place in store. Tesco’s links with Trussell Trust helped feed those most in need in the neighbourhood. Andrew Stott, store manager at Tesco Carnforth, said: “This year’s initiative was incredibly successful and we couldn’t have done it without our loyal customers and the generous residents of Carnforth. “
