Morecambe FC boss Jim Bentley and TV star Paul Hayes were among the guests at a night in memory of a special girl.
The Emily’s Starlite and Alzheimer’s Society Ball was held in tribute to nine-year-old Emily Hood from Heysham, who died last year from a congenital bowel disorder.
The Ball at the Dalton Rooms, Lancaster was organised by Park View Residential Home’s managers Julie Wright and Barbara Middleton and hosted by Dr Andy Foster from Coastal Medical Group. Jim Bentley gave a speech and Paul Hayes hosted the auction.
Music came from Garstang-born Alex Hulme a recent graduate of Sir Paul McCartney’s LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts).
Emily’s family were presented with beautiful hand crafted stepping stones from Bang Tidy Stones for her school’s memorial garden.
