Have your say

Have you ever thought about commemorating a special event in an exceptional way, or dedicating a unique memorial to a loved one?

Then why not sponsor a tree.

Lancaster City Council’s tree sponsoring scheme gives individuals, families, groups of friends, community groups, schools and businesses the chance to spend £150 on the planting of a new tree.

A tree of your choice can be planted in either Ryelands Park, Greaves Park or Happy Mount Park. They are planted between the end of November and the beginning of March each year.

For more information and an application form visit www.lancaster.gov.uk/trees or call 01524 582407. Copies are also available from the council’s customer service centres at Lancaster and Morecambe Town Halls.
