The son of Eric Morecambe is thrilled with a new portrait of his dad.
Gary Morecambe popped along to Morecambe Town Hall to see the painting of his famous father for the first time.
He also paid a visit to the Morecambe Heritage Centre near the Winter Gardens to see an exhibition of old-time variety memorabilia.
The painting of Eric was commissioned by David Brayshaw of Morecambe Carnival committee and painted by Rob Newbiggin.
It was unveiled at a ceremony last month attended by Eric’s wife Joan and daughter Gail.
