FEARS that a man suspected of distributing indecent images of children was allowed access to a school have been allayed by a headteacher.

Parents with children at the school told The Visitor they were distressed to find out that the man, currently on police bail for alleged child porn offences, had visited the school on two occasions.

A petition was raised and some parents kept their children out of the school in protest.

It is believed that the 34-year-old man asked his partner to show him around the school where she worked.
