Santa slasher strikes

A santa slasher has ruined Christmas for a Morecambe man who decorates his front garden in a festive style every year.

Vandals tore a gaping hole into David Miller’s five-foot-tall inflatable Santa as it sat outside his illuminated house on Grosvenor Park.

“I’m feeling sick about it,” said Mr Miller.

“I’ve done up my garden like this for the last seven years.

“I’ve even had cards put through my letterbox thanking me because it makes people smile.

“I can’t believe someone would do this.”

The incident took place on the evening of Saturday, December 15. If you have information please call police on 101.
