PUPILS from a Lancaster primary school have been named community champions at a special assembly.
The youngsters at Ridge Primary School have been talking part in a series of lessons looking at what makes a good community.
The sessions have been led by staff from housing association Places for People, with members of the area’s local neighbourhood police teams also taking part.
The children were presented with certificates at the assembly on Friday, April 1.
