WREATHS were laid on Remembrance Sunday to remember all who have died for their country.
Hundreds gathered for a procession from Morecambe’s Platform to the Cenotaph, where two minutes silence was held.
It was a chance to remember all who have died in the two world wars and also those injured or traumatised by more recent operations in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Iraq.
In Lancaster, people gathered at the garden of remembrance, followed by a service in the Priory Church.
There was a parade and march past from the Priory Church, ending at Lancaster town hall.
A parade left Carnforth town council offices for a service and wreath laying ceremony at the cenotaph.
