Public apology in a roundabout way

editorial image

THIS banner on the railings near the Shrimp roundabout in Morecambe has been causing a stir.

It says: ‘To Terry Jane, I’m so sorry! For hurting you from the bottom of my heart.’

Banners are regularly fixed to the Shrimp railings to celebrate birthdays or other special occasions.

But it is rare to see one used for such a heartfelt public apology.
