The William Mitchell Pub in Morecambe is raising a glass to fundraising success after bringing in £650 to support Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

Pub landlady Tricia Ulyatt has been putting on events throughout the year to raise money including an Easter egg raffle, Christmas raffle and selling vodka jellies to the locals, with all proceeds going to the charity.

All the pub’s loyal regulars have been supporting the events, with one even offering to donate an entry fee from a party they were organising to the fund.

Tricia is now continuing her fundraising with a Family Fun Day to take place on August 25 (Bank holiday), which will include a barbecue, bouncy castle, live music and a bungee slide.

Tricia Ulyatt, landlady of the William Mitchell said: “We’ve really enjoyed all our events so far and are looking forward to seeing everyone out at the family fun day!”

Anne Sweeney, Area Fundraising Coordinator at Rosemere Cancer Foundation, said: “The William Mitchell has done a fantastic job to help raise money for Rosemere.”
