LANCASHIRE Police Authority is inviting residents to outline their key policing priorities over the next 12 months, as it prepares to discuss next year’s budget.
Members of the authority will shortly be considering the options available for setting next year’s council tax precept – the portion of the council tax bill which funds policing in the county.
A series of discussions will take place before the final budget is set in February next year.
Residents are being asked to spell out their personal priorities for policing in the county, and provide their opinions on next year’s council tax precept. Lancashire is faced with the challenge of having to save almost £42m from its budget over the next four years.
