PARENTS of a six-year-old boy who needed 25 stitches in his face and mouth after being bitten by a dog have said: “All we want is an apology.”
Garry Howard and Vickie Brannon are devastated after their little son Luke was attacked by an Akita cross breed while playing near his home on Grafton Road in Morecambe.
Dad Garry said: “If Luke hadn’t pulled away when he did he wouldn’t have a face left.”
The dog’s owner said it was an accident and police agreed, saying the owners were not to blame.
Luke, who goes to Sandylands Primary School, was taken to hospital after the attack last Wednesday teatime.
