Since its takeover by local entrepreneur Simon Rigby, an increasingly exciting programme has been developed to appeal to audiences of all ages and interests.

Comedy fans can enjoy a barrel of laughs with Father Brown, Sarah Millican, Bill Bailey, Jim Davidson, Jasper Carrott, Ed Byrne, Noel Fielding, Paddy McGuinness, Alan Davies and Roy “Chubby” Brown.

Lovers of the ballet and classical music can feast their eyes and ears on the Moscow Ballet la Classique’s performance of The Nutcracker, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, and Last Night of the Proms.

Marketing manager, Hannah Slater, said: “It’s been fantastic to be able to focus on developing and promoting an exciting and credible programme of events to appeal to a wide and varied audience, not just in Preston but across the whole region.”

There really is something for everyone this season: An Evening with David Gest, theatre performances Waiting for Godot, and Pygmalian, concerts from The Proclaimers; Nils Lofgren and Showaddywaddy.
