Morecambe’s MP will back a bill for an EU referendum when it goes before the House of Commons this Friday.
The bll will call for a referendum on Europe before December 31 2017 asking the question: “Do you think the United Kingdom Should be a member of the European Union?”
The bill is being brought before Parliament by Conservative MP James Wharton.
“I support James with his bill and I would like to see a referendum on Europe,” said Mr Morris.
“Laws that originate from Europe are placing unnecessary red tape on businesses in Morecambe and Lunesdale and on our farmers.”
