Drama students from Morecambe Community High School performed a series of plays to an invited audience from local primary schools.

Pupils from Lancaster Road, West End and Morecambe Bay Primary schools watched the pieces which aim to promote diversity in the community.

Drama club students (11-14 year olds) performed Our Quest, a piece of theatre about a group of female Polish footballers who move to Morecambe and face prejudice.

GCSE students (14-16 year olds) performed Burn the Witch, inspired by a Radiohead song of the same name that tackles prejudices of various communities.

A-level students (16-18 year olds) performed Unique which looked at how children should be valued, more specifically the serious issues of gender, autism, appearance, and physical disabilities.

People from Lakeland View Care Home, as well as Vicky Fletcher and Alex Summers from the Dukes Theatre were also in attendance at the high school’s Studio.
