Would you like to own a brand new limited edition miniature version of the Eric Morecambe Statue?

New mini likenesses of our Eric are being made to raise money for the ‘Morecambe Gets Wise’ campaign.

Statue sculptor Graham Ibbeson has created detailed, fine art replicas of the original sculpture, which was recently re-cast after damage.

A limited number will be put on sale priced between £850 and £7,500.

Each maquette will be personally signed and numbered by Graham and dated December 11 2014; the date the Eric Morecambe Statue was returned to the comedian’s home town.

A signed certificate of authenticity will also be provided with each maquette.

Graham said: “They are for anyone who wants to own something a little bit special.

“They’ve come out really really well. They have ben 3D scanned from the original sculpture.

“If I hold one out with one hand it’s like looking at the Eric Morecambe Statue in the distance.”

A limited edition of 36 15in high resin cast maquettes will go on sale, priced £850, and 36 8in high bronze cast replicas (£2,500 each), as well as nine 15in high bronze cast miniatures (£7,500 each). They are mounted on an English Oak base.

All profits from the sale of each maquette will go towards the funding of the new bronze wall sculpture of Morecambe and Wise.
