A Morecambe-based company has been shortlisted in the upcoming North West Society of Chartered Accountants (NWSCA) accountancy and business awards, which are now in their tenth year.

The awards, which take place on November 28 at the Hilton Hotel in Blackpool, recognise the region’s best businesses and professionals across a range of industries.

The shortlist is made up of 19 businesses from across Lancashire and South Lakeland. Morecambe-based ShP Ltd, which is a specialist in the secure disposal of sensitive data, has been nominated for RBS Business of the Year.

Following a judging panel comprising the competition’s organisers and sponsors, nominees have been revealed across seven categories.

The winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony and black-tie dinner, hosted by journalist and broadcaster Tony Livesey, where they will receive recognition from industry professionals across the region and also be permitted to display the awards’ logo on marketing materials.
